经过多年的筹划和准备,在江苏省新闻出版局的推荐和帮助下,中国家禽业信息网在2008年12月19日,收到了新闻出版总署关于该网从事互联网出版服务的批复,新闻出版总署表示,同意中国家禽业信息网从事互联网出版服务工作。据了解,在江苏省所有互联网领域中,中国家禽业信息网为第一家获得新闻出版总署出版许可的互联网机构,目前全国也只有100家左右互联网机构获得出版许可,而这些互联网机构中,大多都是如腾讯、星辰在线等著名互联网企业、传媒集团、出版集团,专业类别网站获互联网出版许可的,目前只有中国家禽业信息网一家。
