Described herein is a temperature control and stabilization device for a liquid helium cryostat used in the 1.5-350K range. When the temperature is 1.5-100K with germanium resistance thermometer for temperature sensing, while the temperature is above 60K platinum resistance thermometer as a temperature sensor. The device has a long-term temperature stability of 1 × 10 -4 K per hour below 20K and 2 × 10 -4 per hour below 60K. When the temperature is in the range of 60-350K, the stability is higher than 5 × 10 ~ (-3) K per hour.
