1983年我县从里下河地区农科所引进小麦良种“扬麦5号”。当年多点试种120余亩,平均亩产达630.6斤,表现了较好的丰、优、抗等综合性状。1985年发展到42000多亩,占小麦实种面积的7.5%.1986年继续扩大种植。我们参照前几年全县大面积推广扬麦4号栽培模式的成功经验,从1985年开始研制了扬麦5号模式高产栽培技术,实践证明效果是好的。堰桥乡新塘里村吴德荣种植的1.3亩,亩产达867斤;东绛乡农业公司基地的30.26亩,地力极差,亩产仅350斤左右,运用高产模式栽培技术后,获得了亩产745.6斤的好收成,比不采用模式的亩增100多斤。现将几年来的情况总结如下:
