At the 1992 FIDAE Arms Expo recently held in Santiago, Chile, the Israeli military industrial company (IMI) debuted the Samson and Dalila two new weapon systems. Although these two kinds of weapons were announced a few years ago, the specific information has remained confidential. Israel used Samson for the first time in the 1982 war in Lebanon, and Dalila never used it. Samson is a passive bait (chaff) or active (radar transponder) jammer that looks like an airborne pod. Equipped with the Israeli Air Force electronic warfare aircraft A-4 Air Eagle. For passive bait, it can also be installed on other electronic warfare weapons, bombs about 1.2m, the quality of about 225kg. After launch, the two folded wings mounted in the middle of the projectile expand. There are also 4 metal vertical stabilizers on the rear of the system.
