徐悲鸿（1895-1953年）现代杰出画家、美术教育家。江苏宜兴人,曾留学法国。在法国、比利时、德国、意大利、苏联举办过“中国近代绘画展览”,建国后任中央美术学院院长,全国美协主席。对素描和人物画造诣甚深,早期作品多取材历史故事,后期侧重现实题材。兼工笔花鸟、风景、走兽,画马笔法奔放,尤见气势。 Xu Beihong (1895-1953) Modern outstanding painter, art educator.
