4月上旬,人民日报海外版华东地区联络员工作会议在江苏省无锡市举行。在介绍情况、交流经验、反映海内外读者对海外版的评价和意见的基础上,集中研究了海外版如何适应海外读者需要,多写独家新闻,开拓报道领域,建立和扩大通讯网络等问题,同时,谈了各地的报道设想和打算,初步落实了一批报道题目。 (一) 人民日报海外版于1985年7月1日创刊,每天出对开8版(法定节假日除外)。在办报过程中最大的难题之一是人力不足。由于海外版实行部版合一,编采合一,每版三五人,七八人,最多十二三人,机动力量很少,要经常地、适时地派出记者采访是不可能的。
In early April, an overseas edition of People’s Daily East China Regional Liaison Conference was held in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province.
