日本的蓝闪变质带或构造带有两种类型,且具有下列地质特征. 第一种类型,代表为三波川带. 1.规模大; 2.可进行地质构造解释; 3.蓝闪变质带常伴有超基性岩; 4.可求得一个变质相系列; 5.同位素年龄值均一. 第二种类型,代表为神居古潭构造带. 1.规模小,尤其宽度窄: 2.很复杂,很难追索和分析地质构造; 3.变质岩中伴有大量的超基性岩; 4.很难求得一个相系列; 5.同位素年龄值不均一. 日本的蓝闪变质带多属第一类型.只有三波川构造带属第一类型.三波川带与低温(压)带是组成典型的对列变质带,但大多数第二类型总不是对列的。
