1966年三四月间,泗水中华中学(简称“中中”)横遭苏哈托政权查封后,先校长许敏(又名许一南)被印尼当局关押了170天,尔后移居澳门。20世纪80年代上半期,我曾再三劝说许老师撰写中中校史。起先他表示同意,但后来因患病而作罢。在此种情况下,我向许老师表示我愿意试着撰写中中校史,但希望得到他及其他中中校友的支持和帮助(提供资料、撰写有关专题等)。后来许老师病情日益恶化,1988年5月4日终于在澳门镜湖医院与世长辞,享年80岁。从1986年至临终前,许老师曾多次写信给我,主要是讲述其病情和讨论撰写中中校史诸事宜。许老师去世前后,孙桂卿老师也曾多次写信给我。为了纪念母校泗水中中创校60周年,特兹将先校长许敏和孙老师寄给我的最后几封信及若干资料予以整理,作为日后研究中中校史的史料保存下来。 In March and April 1966, following the seizure by the Suharto government of Surabaya Secondary School (abbreviated as “中 中”), first principal Xu Min (aka Xu Yimin) was detained for 170 days by Indonesian authorities before moving to Macao. In the first half of the 1980s, I persuaded Xu to write the history of China’s Central Military Academy. At first he agreed, but later gave up because of illness. Under such circumstances, I said to Professor Xu that I am willing to try to write a history of the Central Plains School, but I hope he and other middle-school alumni can provide their support and assistance (information, writing related topics, etc.). Later Xu teacher condition deteriorating, May 4, 1988 finally died at the Mirror Lake Hospital in Macau, at the age of 80. From 1986 to the end of his death, many teachers wrote to me on many occasions, mainly about his condition and discussing the writing of the history of Colonel School. Xu teacher died before and after, Sun Guiqing teacher also wrote me many times. In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of founding an alma mater in Sishui Middle School, Zeitzi sorted out the last letters sent to me by the principals Xu Min and Sun Sun and a number of sources, and saved them as historical materials for the future study of the Central School under the Central Government.
