正电子放射断层显像(PET)作为一种功能成像新技术,可以观察人体组织和器官在分子水平的新陈代谢情况。相比于CT、MRI等传统解剖结构成像方法,PET在肿瘤的早期发现、鉴别原发与转移或复发病灶,以及肿瘤分期和放化疗疗效判断等方面具有独特的优势和重要的临床价值。该文介绍目前PET技术在头颈部肿瘤的临床应用现状和诊断效果,并探讨了PET在头颈部肿瘤诊断和治疗的未来发展趋势。
Positron emission tomography (PET), as a new functional imaging technique, can observe the metabolism of human tissues and organs at the molecular level. Compared with traditional imaging methods such as CT and MRI, PET has unique advantages and important clinical value in the early detection of tumor, the identification of primary and metastatic or recurrent lesions, and the evaluation of tumor staging and radiotherapy and chemotherapy efficacy. This article introduces the current clinical application of PET technology in the diagnosis of head and neck cancer and diagnostic results, and discusses the PET in the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck cancer in the future trends.
