Human history is like a human being’s growth process. Then, from primordial people to the emergence of modern civilization, human beings can be seen as the process of entering the prime of life from infancy. The same is true for the art of painting. This article attempts to analyze the artistic features and contemporary artistic significance of Shek Mun rock paintings in Kangjia, Xinjiang, and probe the concrete aesthetic consciousness expressed by the original abstract symbols so as to obtain the art back to simplicity.
