我国的民间花灯品类样式极其丰富,风格各异。总体上说来,灯彩形式的一个共同点即多以竹、木等材料扎成一个框架,然后在其表面糊上纸、纱或其他材料,再在纸上绘画等。但有一个地方的花灯别具一格,与中国传统花灯有各种骨架支撑不同,那就是浙江仙居县的针刺无骨花灯。针刺无骨花灯是仙居一绝,且不说2006年它被邮政部印上邮票发行,也不说它在中国民间艺术作品博览会、第四届国际艺术博览会上获得金奖,只要看上一眼,没人不为它的精巧绝伦而惊艳,生发“此物只应天上有”的感叹。
