街乡司法所是具体承担法律服务、法律保障和法制宣传的基层司法行政机构,具有排查、调处人民内部矛盾的职能。2002年初,北京市丰台区根据全市统一部署,在22个街道、乡镇同时成立了司法所,并坚持高起点、高标准方针,按照“边建设、边工作,边规范、边提高”的原则进行建设。如何在司法所标准化建设中正确认识和有效发挥思想政治工作的重要作用,把工作做实,使得思想政治工作有效延伸到维护社会稳定的“第一道防线”,便成了具有现实意义的研究课题。
