Since the beginning of the new century, Zhejiang tea industry, especially the famous tea production, has made outstanding contributions to agricultural efficiency and peasants’ income. It has become the pillar industry for increasing income of more than 1.6 million farmer households in 72 tea producing counties (cities and districts) in Zhejiang Province.
