设计在现代世界中扮演着越来越重要的角色,它已经不单是针对用品或商品的概念和行为,还深度涉及到人类的生活方式、行为规范等方面,特别是近年来,设计已经逐渐成为一个与民族发展和文化存在密切相关的课题。中国社会近30年来在各领域所进行的摸索以及所取得的成就,也不断证明了设计在社会进步过程中所占据的重要地位。但是,随着整个社会在各领域取得重大成就的同时,经由设计反映出来的人际和谐问题成为日益突出和亟待解决的关系问题。在这方面,文化传统提供了一定经验,但是现实环境提出了远为严峻的难题。例如,在中国的当代历史情境下,设计与人际和谐之间存在怎样的基本关系?在中国社会整体进步的进程中,设计与人际和谐的关系逐渐得以凸现,这又反映了怎样一种文化态势?中国的设计师在处理设计与人际和谐的关系中,又面临着那些具体环节?和可能采取一些什么样的具体对策?……这些问题不想则已,想想就让人感到有些焦灼。考虑着这些“焦人的”问题,我们在北京闷热的夏季里,盯着编辑部那台巨大的柜式空调,开始了一次简短的对话。
Design is playing a more and more important role in the modern world. It has not only been aimed at the concept and behavior of supplies or commodities, but also deeply related to human’s life style and code of conduct. Especially in recent years, design has gradually become A topic closely related to national development and cultural existence. The groping and achievements made by Chinese society in various fields over the past 30 years have also continuously proved the important position that design occupies in the process of social progress. However, as the entire society has made great achievements in all fields, the issue of interpersonal harmony reflected in the design has become an increasingly prominent and unsolved problem of relations. In this respect, cultural traditions provide some experience, but the real environment poses far far-reaching problems. For example, in China’s contemporary history, what is the basic relationship between design and interpersonal harmony? In the process of overall social progress in China, the relationship between design and interpersonal harmony gradually emerges, which in turn reflects how a cultural situation Chinese designers in dealing with the relationship between design and interpersonal harmony, but also face those specific aspects? And what kind of specific measures may be taken? ... These problems do not want to have, think about it makes people feel a little anxious. With these “focal people” issues in mind, we started a brief conversation in the sultry summer in Beijing, staring at the huge cabinet air conditioner in the editorial office.
