“左行右立”规则可能会降低扶梯的通行效率,并且在高峰小时因为客观原因无法持续。不应引导乘客在高峰小时遵守“左行右立”规则,而只应在平峰时间推行。城市轨道交通车站内的楼扶梯区域是乘客空间转换的必经之地,也是容易发生拥堵的区域。由于楼梯的宽度较大,乘客行走的自由度较高,乘客的行走方式尽管会影响到楼梯的通行效率,但总体影响不大,在楼梯入口和楼梯上发生拥堵的情况较少。

Passengers should not be guided to comply with the “Left-Right” rule at peak hours and should only be introduced during peak hours. The staircase area inside the urban rail transit station is an essential part of the passenger space conversion and also an area prone to congestion. Due to the large width of the staircase, passengers have a high degree of freedom in walking. Though the walking style of the passengers may affect the traffic efficiency of the staircase, the overall impact is not so great. Congestion at stairway entrances and stairs is less frequent.
