纵观近代中国的沧桑巨变,几乎每一重大事件都与天津息息相关,而且天津往往是许多政治漩涡的中心。近代天津的历史契合了中华百年的发展轨迹,即在中西文化碰撞、融合与升华的背景下,中国人民为了争取民族独立和国家现代化殊死抗争、努力奋斗,最终迎来解放的光辉历程。
