目的研究口腔鳞状细胞癌(OSCC)组织中细胞信号传导和转录激活因子(STAT3)的表达及意义。方法应用免疫组织化学EnVosion法,检测山西医科大学第一医院病理科2005年1月至2009年12月存档的50例OSCC病理组织标本与10例正常口腔黏膜组织中STAT3蛋白的表达水平,并进行统计学分析。结果OSCC标本中STAT3主要表达在细胞浆,也有少量表达在细胞核。STAT3在OSCC标本中的阳性表达率为88.0%,明显高于在正常口腔黏膜组织中的表达率(10.0%),差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。STAT3表达与OSCC病理分级、临床分期和是否有淋巴结转移密切相关(P<0.05)。结论STAT3蛋白的异常表达与OSCC的发生、发展有密切的关系,可作为OSCC治疗和预后的辅助性指标。
Objective To study the expression and significance of cell signal transducers and activators of transcription 3 (STAT3) in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Methods Immunohistochemistry EnVosion method was used to detect the expression level of STAT3 protein in 50 OSCC pathological specimens and 10 normal oral mucosa tissues from January 2005 to December 2009 in the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University. Statistical analysis. Results The expression of STAT3 in OSCC was mainly in the cytoplasm, but also in the nucleus. The positive expression rate of STAT3 in OSCC specimens was 88.0%, which was significantly higher than that in normal oral mucosa (10.0%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). STAT3 expression and OSCC pathological grade, clinical stage and whether there is a close correlation between lymph node metastasis (P <0.05). Conclusion The abnormal expression of STAT3 protein is closely related to the occurrence and development of OSCC, which can be used as an adjunct index for the treatment and prognosis of OSCC.
