中国电力工业从1978年到2008年取得了跨越式的发展。1978年全国发电装机容量5712×10~4kW,到2008年已达到7.92×10~8kW。1978年全国35kV及以上输电线路回路长度为23×10~4km,2008年已达到116.8×10~4km。从1996年起,全国发电装机容量和发电量一直稳居世界第二位,电力工业建设速度居世界首位。我国电网规模和技术已达到世界领先水平。农村基本实现户户通电,农村通电率已基本达到发达国家的水平。2008年我国燃煤电厂总的能源效率为43.19%,已居世界首位,烟尘排放水平基本与发达国家持平。从2004年开始我国水电装机容量一直稳居世界首位,2008年底水电装机容量达到1.71×10~8kW。中国核电建设进入全力提速阶段,可再生能源发电进入快速发展时期。
China’s power industry from 1978 to 2008 has made leaps and bounds. In 1978, the installed capacity of power generation in China was 5712 × 10 ~ 4kW, reaching 7.92 × 10 ~ 8kW in 2008. In 1978, the circuit length of 35kV and above transmission lines in China was 23 × 10 ~ 4km and in 2008 it reached 116.8 × 10 ~ 4km. Since 1996, the national installed capacity and generating capacity of power generation have been ranking the second in the world, and the construction of power industry ranks first in the world. China’s power grid size and technology has reached the world’s leading level. The basic realization of rural electricity households, the rural electricity rate has basically reached the level of developed countries. In 2008, the total energy efficiency of coal-fired power plants in China was 43.19%, ranking first in the world. The emission level of soot and dust was basically the same as that of developed countries. Since 2004, China’s hydropower installed capacity has consistently ranked first in the world. By the end of 2008, hydropower installed capacity reached 1.71 × 10 ~ 8kW. China’s nuclear power construction entered full speed phase, renewable energy power generation entered a period of rapid development.
