The authors studied the status of the immune response in workers engaged in the various process stages of the production of malathion (4049) and those using 4049. A total of 28 serum samples from 4049 workers (1 to 15 years of service) were examined and sera from non-pesticide donors were used as controls. Methods: Serum complement fixation reaction. The composite antigens used were: 4049-human serum albumin complex, 4049-bovine serum albumin complex and 4049-chicken serum albumin complex; protein antigens were: human
