湖南省人民政府直属机关第二幼儿院是一所省级示范性幼儿园,隶属于湖南省机关事务管理局,原址在芙蓉区文艺路黄泥坑1号。2010年在省机关事务局党组的高度重视和正确领导下,在省发改委、省财政厅等省直厅局的大力支持下,政府全额投资3000多万元,该院整体搬迁至长沙市雨花区湘府东路二段308号,总占地面积4915平方米,总建筑面积7707平方米,除了常规的活动场地外,还配备了体感功能室、创意美劳室、音体活动室、幼儿阅览室、多功能大礼堂、录播教室等专项活动室。
