光学测距和探测较有意义的潜在应用之一是宇航员在飞船外活动时所遇到的应用,如拔回漂游的卫星。人类在地球上视距内的所有经验在太空中都消失了,在没有有效背景情况下,太空中接近飞行器的宇航员不能可靠地知道他与飞行器的距离。宇航局的载入机动装置携带的燃料有限,因此任何可靠的、轻重量的测距工具都将受到宇航界的欢迎。
One of the more potential applications of optical ranging and detection is the use of astronauts in spacecraft activities such as snapping back and satellites. All human experience in Earth’s horizon disappears in space, and in the absence of any valid background, astronauts approaching the spacecraft in space can not reliably know his distance from the spacecraft. NASA’s loading maneuvering device has limited fuel load, so any reliable, light-weight rangefinder tool will be welcomed by the aerospace community.
