质型多角体病毒(CytoplasmicpolyhedrosisVirus,简称CPV)感染赤松毛虫幼虫后,幼虫死亡率随感染龄期的增大而减小,随处理剂量的增加而增大;老熟幼虫感病后死亡率低,但幼虫化蛹死亡率高达533%.羽化率仅为251%~275%,成虫产卵量比未带毒成虫产卵量减少409%,部分成虫甚至不产卵,卵孵化率较对照低10~20个百分点,且子代幼虫带毒率高达611%,死亡率达498%.CPV与Bt混用,可迅速降低幼虫的取食量,处理后第5天幼虫的排粪量约为单用CPV的1/2~2/3,LT50值最大差36d,LT90值最大差69d.
