Objective: To explore and analyze the pulmonary function and efficacy of inhaled salmeterol and fluticasone in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods: A total of 74 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease who were treated in Pingyang People’s Hospital from January 2014 to January 2015 were randomly divided into observation group and control group. Forty-four patients in the cohort were treated with inhaled salmeterol fluticasone; in the control group, 30 patients were treated with conventional therapies. Pulmonary function parameters, dyspnea index, and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results: The pulmonary function of patients treated with inhalation of salmeterol fluticasone was significantly improved (P <0.05), and the improvement was better than that of conventional treatment. The effective ratio of dyspnea index The effective proportion of the control group (P <0.05), salmeterol fluticasone can effectively improve the patient’s respiratory status; after the questionnaire survey found that the quality of life of patients in the observation group had significantly improved (P <0.05), but The quality of life of the control group patients did not significantly improve (P> 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Salmeterol and fluticasone inhalation is more effective than traditional treatments in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The former treatment method can effectively improve the patient’s lung function and reduce the number of hospitalizations. The use of a salvage therapy means.
