十五年来,锦州市地名办在搞好地名普查、建立地名档案、编纂地名资料的同时,大力推广标准化地名,共设置永久性的城市街路标牌5587块、村屯标志1万多块。1989年锦州、锦西分市后,我们理顺了城镇门牌管理体制,设置安装了机关、企事业单位和城镇居民住宅门牌267613块,在城市街路设置了路标广告牌420块。做到了村委会以上自然屯全部建有石质村屯标志(极少量偏僻自然屯为水泥标志),城镇街路延仲到哪里街路标牌就规划设置到哪里,城镇改造,建设与门牌同步规划,同时竣工交付使用。基本满足了乡居民
