海尔是中国第一家达到千亿规模的家电企业,但在国内市场它正面临经济增长放缓、消费疲软和竞争对手的强力追赶,同时海尔自身正在进行一场难度巨大的转型。目前的海尔正处于波谷,内生式增长非常困难,只能寻求外延式增长。海尔集团董事局主席张瑞敏喜欢在媒体面前援引“管理哲学之父”英国人查尔斯·汉迪的“第二曲线”理论:必须在第一个曲线到达峰值之前就开始,只有这样才会有足够的资源来弥补初期的投入。
