OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of sodium copper chlorophyllin and cobalt protoporphyrin on body weight and organ coefficient of lead-exposed rats, and to provide some references and clues for the prevention of lead poisoning and clinical drug treatment. Methods: Thirty male Wistar rats of 2 months old were randomly divided into 4 groups: ① control group, ② lead exposure group, ③ lead + cobalt protoporphyrin group, ④ lead + sodium copper chlorophyllin group. copp was intraperitoneally injected once every two weeks. PbAc and sodium copper chlorophyll were respectively exposed to drinking water. The control group received distilled water and the rats were fed with normal diet. Five months after exposure, the rats were sacrificed and the heart was removed. The heart, liver, kidneys and lungs were immediately weighed and the ratio of dirty to somatic was calculated. Results: ① The body weight of rats in each treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). ② The lead-induced viscera coefficient of each group was statistically significant compared with the control group. ③ copp and sodium copper chlorophyll kidneys coefficient difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). (4) Compared with the lead-exposed group, sodium copper chlorophyll a, liver coefficient, copp liver and kidney coefficient had statistical significance (P <0.05). Conclusion: Lead can cause damage to lung, liver, kidney and heart; copp inhibits the damage of liver and kidney caused by lead, and restores the damage of lung and liver caused by lead and sodium copper chlorophyll. Sodium is more able to repair kidney damage caused by lead than copp. Lead can lead to significant weight loss in rats, copp lead-induced weight gain in rats, may have a certain relationship with copp dose.
