现代坏境艺术设计作为一门实用艺术,集生活、技术与艺术为一体,它需通过艺术设计的方式在对空间环境进行规划的基础上,为人类物质生活及活动提供合理场所和空间环境,同时满足人的精神需求。从这个意义上讲,环境艺术设计本身就是人类对自身生存环境的一种美学再创造。本文从环境艺术设计的基本内涵着手,深刻剖析其遵循的基本原则,并客观分析了现代环境艺术设计的价值所在。
