The Barkhausen noise method in magnetic non-destructive testing was used to evaluate the fatigue behavior of the medium carbon steel. It was shown that the amplitude B of Barkhausen noise varied with the increase of N in the cycle. The relationship between B and N could be used to evaluate the material Damage characteristics.
