Yang Songquan, a teacher in Jinan City, Shandong Province, was diagnosed with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma in the Department of Otolaryngology, Shandong Provincial Hospital in February 1991 due to severe headache, massive nasal bleeding, and tinnitus.
