1895年12月28日,法国人卢米埃尔兄弟第一次在巴黎公开放映电影短片,世界电影由此诞生。7个月零13天以后,1896年8月11日,“西洋影戏”在上海徐园内的“又一村”放映,使中国人第一次看到了电影。10年之后,1905年,北京丰泰照相馆拍摄了戏曲片《定军山》,中国电影由此发端。尽管与世界电影相比,中国电影迟到了10年,但从诞生到今天,在这一百多年的探索和跋涉中,中国影坛涌现出了大批感人至深的电影作品,这些作品不仅是中国社会的记录,同时更深深地影响了中国几代人。
