Buddha statue was founded in ancient India Kushu dynasty, this is a major event in the history of Buddhist art. Judging from the archeological artifacts of Geumgangluo and Gandhara, the statue of Buddha has been born before and after the ascensee of Kashgar. A batch of “BOΔΔO” Minggui frost coins unearthed in Gandhara area is a long-standing reference to Buddha statues with the royal order of Kushisu. Some scholars have pointed out that this is the earliest example of Buddha statues. However, casting Buddhist statues on circulating coins should be something after the Buddha’s appearance. Moreover, there is a very small number of coins in Kofu Buddha. It can be said that, at least before and after the king of Gaya, Gandhara area is not particularly concerned about Buddhism.
