However, it is the trend of the times that gradual convergence and unification have taken place. By introducing the health systems in Germany, the United States, Japan, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Taiwan and Hong Kong, a general description of their health service systems is provided to provide reference for decision makers to adapt their health service systems to health insurance coverage.
