全美第一座中美文化雕塑公园(Chinese-USSculpture Park Kansas City)于2011年11月在美国堪萨斯的欧弗兰帕克市落成。该市市长葛拉克(CarlGarlach)、中国驻美国芝加哥总领事馆副总领事卢坤、广州市政协副主席陈纪萱、著名旅美雕塑家吴信坤、华人华侨及中国留学生代表等100余人参加了雕塑公园开幕式。中美文化雕塑公园项目由旅美华裔雕塑家吴信坤先生倡议发起,以华人移民和现代生活为主题,旨在加强中美文化艺术交流,得到了中美双方有关
The nation’s first Chinese-US Sculpture Park, Kansas City, was completed in November 2011 in Overland Park, Kansas, USA. More than 100 people, including Mayor Gelak, Chinese Consul General in Chicago, Lu Kun, Deputy Consul General in Chicago, Chen Ji Xuan, Vice Chairman of Guangzhou CPPCC, Famous Chinese-American Sculptor Wu Xinkun, Chinese overseas Chinese and Chinese students, attended the opening ceremony of the Sculpture Park . The Sino-American cultural sculpture park project was initiated by Mr. Wu Xinkun, a Chinese-American sculptor from the United States. The theme of the project is Chinese immigration and modern life. The project aims to strengthen the exchange of arts and culture between China and the United States and is supported by both China and the United States
