公元1126年间,来自北方的女真族攻占当时北宋帝国的首都汴京(今河南省开封县),俘虏了宋徽宗、宋钦宗父子以及大量赵氏皇族、后宫妃嫔与贵卿、朝臣等共3000余人北上金国,东京城中公私积蓄为之一空。由于事件发生于宋钦宗靖康年间,史称“靖康之变”。
