吞咽困难是指食物从口腔至食管、胃运送过程受阻而产生的梗阻停滞感觉。脑卒中是导致吞咽障碍最常见的疾病,因其病变部位影响脑干吞咽中枢或吞咽过程而引起吞咽障碍,脑卒中后吞咽困难的发生率约达22%~50%。脑卒中吞咽困难主要发生在口腔期与咽喉期,咽喉期是产生误吸的关键阶段。误吸可导致呛咳、吸入性肺炎甚至窒息;由于进食困 Difficulty swallowing refers to the obstruction of food from the mouth to the esophagus, gastric obstruction caused by the process of stopping feeling.
