Discussions about the “technology” and “idea” tendencies have always been controversial in teaching. From a parallel comparison of horizontal art disciplines this debate is not confined to the field of glass science; it is also a discussion of the normal values in the field of art in terms of the longitudinal time span over which the art develops.
