国民性是一个国家、民族最主要的内在特征,每个国家的民族特性,都有其长处和短处,它对社会经济、文化、政治的发展产生重大影响。因此,研究国民性的优化问题,无论对个人抑或是国家都有长足意义。20世纪初,梁启超先生的社会文化观即是以改造国民性、提高全民族的文化素质、培养新国民为中心内容,他先后发表《新民说》、《十种德性相反相成义》、《新民义》等论著,提出诸多至当代仍有重大参考价值的见解。本文将从梁启超先生的社会文化观中获取优化当代中国国民性的启示。
National character is the most important internal characteristic of a nation and nation. Each nation’s national character has its strengths and weaknesses. It has a significant impact on the social, economic, cultural and political development. Therefore, the research on the optimization of national character has great significance to both individuals and countries. At the beginning of the 20th century, Mr. Liang Qichao’s concept of social culture was centered on reforming the national character, improving the cultural quality of the entire nation and training new nationalities. He successively published “Xinmin’s Theory”, “Ten Kinds of Morality Opposed Phase” and “Xinmin Yi ”and other works, put forward many to the contemporary is still a significant reference value of the opinion. This article will gain inspiration from Liang Qichao’s concept of social culture to optimize contemporary Chinese nationality.
