Paleontologists at Rennes University in France found an ammonite fossil embedded in shark teeth in a collection of amateur paleontological amateurs. According to paleontologists, this may be the first direct evidence that prehistoric sharks fed on ammonite about 150 million years ago. Ammonite is an extinct marine animal, but also a distant cousin of modern nautilus. In the discovery of the fossil ammonite shell is embedded with three sharks teeth, the shell was bite out a few holes. Previously, there were other signs of shark teeth found in other fossils, such as crocodile tail fossils. However, due to the firmness of the ammonite shell, paleontologists had been unable to determine whether the shark had eaten with ammonites before and could not rule out the predation of other marine predators. However, Lomanen, paleontologist at Rennes University in France
