“返老还童”是古今学者都感兴趣的课题。前苏联科学家曾做了一个试验,即“人可活到200岁的长寿法”:选45—89岁的25人,长期注射人胎盘(中医称为紫河车)血清,经过11年的试验,结果发现受试者的衰老现象停止了,部分人比注射胎盘血清前还要显得年轻。我国明代《扶寿精方》载:一妇年近六十,衰惫日侵,自制紫河车丸常吃,寿至九十岁,强健如壮(三十岁时)。当然,一般来讲,真正使人返老还童是不可能的,但在日常生活中注意饮食调养,确能使人的外貌年轻、精力回复。如《清宫遗闻》记载:慈禧“年七十余,望之如四十许人,鬓无一茎白者”。这与慈禧晚年常吃八仙糕有关。老年人常吃以下食物可望“回春”。 芝麻 含叶酸、卵磷脂、维生素E等。汉代鲁女常以芝麻为食,八十岁仍如少女模样。晋代医药学家葛洪说,吃芝麻“一年身面光泽,二年白发还黑,三年齿落更生”。宋代华山道士丁少微常吃芝麻,“年百余岁,康强如壮年”。现代研究,芝麻确有抗衰老和防治心脑血管疾病的作用。芝麻油中的亚油酸,还有美容功效。
