2013年5月9日,联合国社会性别主题工作组在北京召开了“基于性别的暴力及研究”研讨会。本次研讨会由联合国人口基金、联合国妇女署、联合国儿童基金会和福特基金会主办,并得到了世界卫生组织、国际劳工组织、联合国教科文组织和联合国系统驻华协调员办公室的大力支持。来自联合国相关机构、双边组织和全国妇联、推动性别平等的非政府组织、学术界及媒体的等国内外代表80余人出席了研讨会。本次研讨会旨在提高对收集基于性别的暴力的相关数据以用于政策制定、社会倡导和项目实施的重要性的认识。性别暴力研究领域的八位国内外专家学者在此次研讨会上分享了近期关于性别暴
On May 9, 2013, the UN Working Party on Gender Themes held a seminar on “Gender-based Violence and Research” in Beijing. The seminar was hosted by UNFPA, UN Women, UNICEF and Ford Foundation and was strongly supported by the WHO, ILO, UNESCO and the Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator in China. More than 80 representatives from relevant agencies of the United Nations, bilateral organizations and the All China Women’s Federation and non-governmental organizations promoting gender equality, academics and the media attended the seminar. This workshop aims to raise awareness of the importance of collecting relevant data on gender-based violence for policy development, social advocacy and project implementation. Eight domestic and foreign experts and scholars in the field of gender-based violence shared recent briefings on gender violence at this symposium
