清水江流域贵州境内集水面积17086km~2,通过对流域内的文峰塔、下司、施洞、锦屏、湾水、南花、南哨、六洞桥等水文站洪峰流量资料分析,其洪水分布特性与暴雨特性基本一致,即清水江流域贵州境内干流从源头至巴拉河汇口以上河段洪水模数逐渐减小;随着洪峰模数较大的巴拉河、南哨河汇入后,洪峰模数较下司~施洞河段有所增加;在南哨河汇入后附近洪峰模数达到施洞以下河段的最大;再随着乌下河、六洞河、亮江、小河等支流的汇入后洪峰模数将逐渐减小。
