Man can not live without Iand,which is now actually facing crisis.The agricultural ecosystem is being destroyed with the modernized construction and development pushing forward to the fields, especially the shortsighted plan and action in seeking commercial profit.Where can people gain enough food with sharp decrease of cultivated land? Waste of natural resources is the key answer to the inharmoniousness between mankind and environment and the development of the earth. With the advancement of civilization, man should take the responsibility of preserving the land instead of only depending on it in consideration of posterity. Sichuan has been facing the contradiction of more and more people with less and less land. According to the statistics of 1992, land occupation is 0. 057 hectare per one, less than one mu.Cultivated land occupation in Chengdu is 0. 8mu per onel just on the warning line defined by UN Food & Agriculture Qrganization (FAO). The crisis of cultivated land is not only the crisis of food but also the crisis of human beings
