缅甸中国同盟会始建于1908年4月,止于1912年8月中国同盟会改组为国民党,计存在4年又4个月。这期间,它为动员、组织旅缅华侨投身孙中山先生领导的民主革命开展许多卓有成效的工作,做出重大贡献。1929年间,同盟会时期的主要领导人徐赞周、庄银安依照中国同盟会南洋总机关的主要负责人林义顺的建议,成立编纂处,组织编纂《缅甸中国同盟会开国革命史》(又称《缅甸中国同盟会革命史》),分为上编、下编。上编系由编纂处所采访辑成,收录了缅甸中国同盟会自成立至1912年间的许多原始资料,下编则为徐赞周于1929年完稿的遗著《缅甸华侨革命史》。上编于1931年由思明日新书局刊
The Burmese Chinese Confederation was founded in April 1908 and ended in August 1912. The Chinese Confederation was reorganized into the Kuomintang in four years and four months. During this period, it made a significant contribution to the mobilization and organization of overseas Chinese in Burma and Myanmar in their many fruitful work in joining the democratic revolution led by Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
