This article refers to the “Business Process Reengineering” theory and method to analyze the hospitalization process of benign ovarian tumors, a common surgical condition in a three-grade hospital in Beijing, and the problems existing in the study and hospitalization. The effect of process reorganization on the average length of hospital stay and the hospital’s business income brought forward the criteria for determining the average length of stay of the disease and a relatively reasonable mean length of stay. 1 Materials and Methods 1.1 Data sources, sample identification and investigation methods In this study, 115 hospital records of benign ovarian tumors in 1998 were used as the main data sources, and medical records were used to review the methods.
