虽然曲艺在我国各历史时期对社会生活和艺术发展都发挥过积极的作用,并留下大量的优秀遗产,但正统的学术界和艺术界并没有给她应有的地位。偶尔有几位学者在研究诸如文学、戏曲时牵涉到曲艺,那就算公德无量了。固然建国后,中央政府已把曲艺正式列入几大艺术门类之一加以管理和提倡,但所投入的精力和财力与其他艺术相比,几乎不可同日而语。所以时至今日,形成和发展的历史远没有曲艺悠久的戏曲早就名正言顺地建立起戏曲学学科,并属一类学科。
Although Quyi played an active role in social life and artistic development in all historical periods in our country, leaving a great deal of outstanding legacy, the orthodox academic and artistic circles did not give her the due status. Occasionally a few scholars involved in the study of folklore such as literature and drama, it is extremely virtuous. After the founding of New China, however, the Central Government has formally listed and managed Quyi as one of the few art categories it manages and advocates. However, the energy and financial resources invested in it are almost comparable to other arts. Therefore, up to now, the history of formation and development is far from the long tradition of opera. The drama has long been justifiably established as a discipline of opera studies and belongs to a group of disciplines.
