长期以来的相关调查和研究都认为:哈尼族妇女地位是低下的。笔者认为这种观点主要是受到汉族历史文化中两性角色和地位变迁的影响。在《哈尼阿培聪坡坡》一诗中,从女始祖塔婆,到帝后扎纳玛,再到女英雄戚姒,妇女不仅承担了母亲的角色,成为氏族的直接养育者,而且是劳动生产的组织、领导者和氏族捍卫者、传承者,在家庭生活和社会生活中同时具备“男性意义”上的角色地位。
