A new mid-range airspace-to-air missile has started its program study by Sweden’s Saab Missile Company and British aerospace defense company (BAe). The S225X missile, the next-generation BVR system, is a fully company-funded initiative initially planned to be equipped with the Swedish JA39Gripen fighter aircraft and possibly the European fighter aircraft. The S225X is a wingless, tail-controlled design that has the ability to launch regardless of the performance of the data chain can also be amended.
