秘书学的学科类型问题,是一个尚存争议的基础理论问题,尽管一些秘书学教材有所涉及,但并非已达共识。据笔者初步统计:关于秘书学学科类型的看法影响较大的有边缘说、综合说、社会科学说、应用说、分支说等等。出现上述不同提法,有人认为“本质上并不矛盾,分支说是指学科归属,应用说是指学科的特点,交叉与综合是指学科内容。”分类角度不同
