“裙带菜和海带单配体克隆育种育苗的成功,是细胞工程技术在经济海藻上应用走出的一条新路子。”这是中科院海洋研究所研究员吴超元接受记者采访时强调的。吴超元研究员说,我国海藻人工养殖和育苗技术居世界领先地位,几种主要海藻的年产量居世界前列。海带居世界首位;紫菜列日本之后,居第二位;裙带菜在韩国、日本之后,列第三位。但近年来,这几种主要海藻在我国的生产不甚稳定,主要的原因之一是不能保证供应生产所需的幼苗,海藻的育种育苗技术有待提高,以解决生产的急需。

However, in recent years, the production of these kinds of major seaweeds is not stable in our country. One of the main reasons is that the seedlings needed for the supply of production can not be guaranteed. The breeding and nursery technologies of seaweeds need to be improved to solve the urgent need of production.
