Despite the power shift continuously variable transmission has become a standard tractor drive system. As a result of the competition, a power-shift transmission, as a continuously variable transmission, has extended the functionality and features as much as possible for the user. Much of the power shift transmission’s progress comes from the innovative electronic control system. This also increases the complexity of the control unit and the connection structure with the CAN communication network. To further satisfy users’ near-stringent requirements regarding the safety and suitability of the electronic control system, the development process must be constantly modified and optimized. The ZF Group’s in-house experience in automotive applications and hardware-software development process tools can also be effectively used in agricultural machinery.
